Hi there! In our belated spring cleaning, I found a huge amount of old polishes of my mother! I found this beautiful colour in one of our dusty cupboards and I immediately loved it. At first glance it looks like black, but in the sunlight it's more of a dark purple. I combined it with this lovely silver polish, and this is what I ended up with:
I was inspired by Broken from Seether.
The polishes I used were:
- Rimmel London 60 Seconds #600: Deliciously Dark
- Unnamed, unnumbered Jip en Janneke nail polish, from the HEMA.
This was such a hard mani to photograph! The base colour is extremely shiny, even without my super glossy top coat, so my spotlights kept blinding the silver polka dots in every shot. Anyway, here are some more pictures:

So, what do you think? I think they look great, despite being such short nails. Polka dots always look cute, but the the three dots somehow make your nails appear longer than they actually are - which is exactly what we're aiming for, of course :)
